Cllr Jane Doughty was elected to the Town Council in May 2023 and currently holds the position of Chair/Town Mayor for 2026-27.
As Mayor, Cllr Doughty Chairs full Council meetings and serves on all Committees throughout the mayoral year and is the civic figurehead of the town, bestowed with the ancient title of ‘First Citizen of Witney’.
