To receive and consider the report of the R.F.O concerning the financial position of items under the remit of this Committee.

The Committee received and considered the report of the Responsible Financial Officer (RFO) detailing income and expenditure for budgets which were the responsibility of the committee.

Members were advised that the year-end accounting adjustments were currently being completed. It was noted that services had been delivered within budget and that the final outturn was approximately £6,000 below the revised budget projection, with much of the variance relating to movements in Earmarked Reserves (EMRs).

Members raised a query regarding the presentation of figures within the report and requested clarification from officers.

The Committee also reviewed the budget provision for Experience Oxfordshire and, having noted that the allocation was no longer required, resolved to remove the budget line and return the funds to the general budget provision.

Resolved:

1.       That, the report be noted and;

2.       That, the provision for Experience Oxfordshire be removed;

3.       That, the management accounts of the Stronger Communities Committee for the period 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026 be approved.
