An apology for absence was received from Councillor J Aitman.

Apologies were also received from Councillor D Temple, Councillor J Treloar attended as a substitute.

Members are reminded to declare any disclosable pecuniary interests in any of the items under consideration at this meeting in accordance with the Town Council’s code of conduct.

There were no declarations of interest from members or officers.

Resolved:

That, the comments, as per the attached schedule be forwarded to West Oxfordshire District Council.

To receive notice of a consultation from Oxfordshire County Council on proposed disabled persons parking spaces at Gloucester Place, Witney and consider a response, if appropriate.

The Committee received correspondence from Oxfordshire Country Council in respect of requests for the removal and installation of disabled parking spaces across the County.

To receive notice, via the Oxfordshire Association of Local Councils, of a Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government consultation on reducing the prevalence of private estate management arrangements and consider a response, if appropriate.

The Committee received notification of the Government consultation on reducing the prevalence of private estate management arrangements.

Members noted the complexity of the consultation, which comprised 156 separate questions within a 23-page online submission it was therefore agreed that the submission a written response would be more appropriate.
