That the Council facilitates, runs and funds a civic drinks reception for the Christmas Lights Switch-on event in the Corn Exchange on Friday 24th November 2023.

Reasons for the decision:

To welcome representatives from Witney's twinned towns (per the request from Rotary Club of Witney) and other dignitaries invited to the switch-on event.
Facilitating the twinned town representatives would not result in additional costs for the town council.

Alternative options considered:

To not hold the event.
